Zimbabwe charity is a charity organisation that raises funds for projects offering relief from poverty for suffering people in Zimbabwe. Currently the charity works in partnership with local Non-Government Organisations (NGO’s) in Zimbabwe and all over the world.
Zimbabwe charity aims to help disadvantaged people of Zimbabwe and improve their opportunities and lifestyle by encouraging them to obtain education, and vocational training to develop their self-esteem, thus enabling them to break out of the poverty trap. The charity also provides support for their families and the local community. The majority of our work is funded through well wishers. All funding to Zimbabwe Charity is carefully assessed and regular visits to supported projects, along with written reports and receipts, allows the Charity to monitor the achievement
A large number of the population of Zimbabwe lives in serious poverty, unable to adequately feed, clothe, or educate their children. In the cities there are many slum areas, and a severe lack of clean water and basic hygiene. Rural areas also suffer, often enduring long periods of drought and irregular low paid work
The charity raises funds from individuals and support groups in the UK and across the world. Children are delighted to think that someone really cares for them – sponsors receive regular updates and enjoy sharing in their success as they achieve their goals in life. We also give aid to their families and improve the quality of life within the local community
